For almost twenty years in a row, Fox News has been considered the top cable news network in the United States. What started out as a small business venture for media mogul Rupert Murdoch back in October of 1996, has since grown into a powerful conglomerate that has a magnetic pull in America today. This pull is thanks in large to the exceptional anchors on the network, each of which has displayed both grace and tenacity in covering some of the most difficult situations in the world, as well as the most contentious elections in national history. Many of the industry leaders in broadcasting learned everything they know from their time with Fox News, and as this list of heavyweights who have presented on the channel and elsewhere illustrates, its anchors and reporters have gone on to make a massive contribution to journalism. The fact that so many of them are still in the field today is proof that they are a formidable group of heroines who are still inspiring others to go after their dreams.
Maria Bartiromo

With a net worth of around $50 million, we simply can’t ignore the force that is Maria Bartiromo. What resulted from this was a long stretch with CNN, as well as completing two decades with CNBC. She joined the Fox team in 2013 as a household name, and is now hosting her own show and dabbling into various features whenever she gets a spare moment. Her story starts with the fact that she was the first person ever to broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange.
Jillian Mele

We’re sure that she has a lot to do with the brand being where it is today. Like so many others, she started her broadcasting career in sports, where she served as a co-anchor for NBC Sports. Years later, she now works on Fox & Friends, one of the most popular and lucrative shows for the network. Graduating from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, Jillian Mele knew she wanted to do big things with her life.
Lea Gabrielle

Lea Gabrielle has a very interesting story, graduating from the US Naval Academy in her youth and then going on to complete a digital journalism certificate after. Before she was making waves as a correspondent, she worked as an intelligence office for the US Navy, which is a job that very few anchors can say they have any experience in.
Erin Andrews

Sports go together with Erin Andrews like a burger matches with french fries. ESPN soon came calling, and the experience eventually landed her a role on Good Morning America. From there, Fox NFL came calling, and now she covers most major sporting events in the country, as well as the most prestigious of all, the Super Bowl. Although her love for activity gained her a reputation as a “tomboy” back in the day, Erin wasn’t deterred and knew that she wanted to be a sports anchor.
Kacie McDonnell

This helped her to learn the ropes, make some contacts and to eventually make a move towards becoming a sports reporter for the Fox Nation Subscription Channel. Although she hasn’t been with the network very long, she is showing great signs of promise, and is someone to watch going into the 2020’s. As with so many who came before her, Kacie McDonnel gained as much experience as she could by doing various stints for local stations in her native Boston.
